Blackwoods 2012 Vintage Dry Gin
Shetland is a natural world where the wildlife is truly wild. It has a rugged beauty with continuously changing colours, textures and weather. The island is situated off the north coast of Scotland towards Norway, resting 60° north. This is where the North Sea collides with the Atlantic Ocean giving it an oceanic climate. This causes long winters and beautiful short summers, although because the Shetland lies so far north it enjoys a ‘summer dim’, where summer days can last up to 19 hours. An incredible backdrop for an incredible gin.
