Schwepps is recognised as one of the UK’s oldest brands. Originating in 1783, Jacob Schweppes discovered a way to manufacture carbonated mineral water, which would later be named ‘Tonic’. The products primary function was to settle upset stomachs and other ailments of the time.

 

Today, tonic water is widely enjoyed over gin and ice and as a component in other cocktails. However, the Schweppes range is no longer limited to tonic water and their extensive product portfolio is recognised globally.
